Ruža Stević

Professor Ruža Stević is radiologist and a subspecialist in ultrasound in medicine and in interventional radiology in Center for radiology in University Clinical center of Serbia in Belgrade and professor of radiology at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. She is the head of the Pulmoradiology Department of the Center for Radiology and deputy director of this Center. She is engaged in various segments of radiology, especially in the field of thoracic and interventional radiology and ultrasound diagnostics. Her contribution to improving the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases and TNM staging of lung cancer is significant. She is a permanent member of the council for interstitial lung diseases, malignant lung tumors and pulmonary hypertension at the University Clinical Center of Serbia. She uses ultrasound into her daily work as a simple and reliable method for diagnosing thoracic diseases and also performs the invasive and interventional non-vascular procedures under ultrasound control in the diagnosis and therapy of lung and pleural diseases. She presented her rich experience in this field in the book "Ultrasound of the chest" published in August 2024. Dr Ruža Stević is the author and co-author of more than 250 scientific articles that have been published in national and international publications. She is the editor of a radiology textbook for students and the author of chapters in 13 different textbooks.
